Martina Gruber

Martina Gruber has successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis in April 2020. Martina has contributed a lot in the field of coactivator function in therapy-resistant prostate cancer. She has investigated the role of p300 in chemotherapy resistance. Martina has demonstrated that p300, which was initially studied as an androgen receptor coactivator, may be targeted in docetaxel resistance. She also worked on novel approaches in targeting stem cells in prostate cancer. Martina has presented her work several times in Europe and the United States. She has nicely collaborated with several colleagues in the laboratory and we wish her all the best for her future as a postdoctoral researcher.
